NetMarketing的年度最佳B2B网站TOP 100排行榜,从1997年开始,今年已经是第六次
了。不管资本市场如何跌宕起伏,排行榜都坚持下来。实在是不容易。为了这份坚持,我
们也应该给予掌声。TOP 100中共涉及14个行业,是全球B2B最高水平的一次大展阅。
2000年以后,虽然互联网资本市场泡沫破灭,但是B2B的发展却在2001年开始掀起又一
轮新的高潮。发展势头依旧保持迅猛。NetMarketing综合了前些年的获奖网站,以及今天
新提名的网站,还有各行各业的领导厂商,共800家初选名单。其中,B2B相关媒体网站、
门户、搜索引擎和电子市场等都不包括在内,而是那些直接以自己公司品牌、直接销售自
己产品与服务的公司。是实实在在做生意的电子商务网站。评分标准按照5类指标,每类满
分各25分,总分100分。
5类指标分别如下:
1、 质量和信息展示:开门见山介绍公司主营业务、产品与服务信息、公司信息和联系信
息的完整性、产品说明和差异化评估工具。
2、 导航浏览的便易性:网站结构和组织、搜索引擎、速度、浏览便利、切换网页快捷等
。
3、 网站设计水平:美工、阅读感受、图形效果、视频音频的合理使用等创意性内容。
4、 电子交易:下单过程、帐号信息、客户支持、定价、交付方式和信息反馈等。
额外:社区、论坛、计算器等增强用户体验工具、邮件列表、实时客户支持、相关附录信

ite that offers users many resources-including a ""My Company"" section where
they can set up a free extranet with CDW. All info is well organized and easy
to navigate.
General Motors Corp. 96 Automotive This site one-ups others in its industry. F
or example, you can specify the day you want to receive an e-mail notification
about upcoming conference calls. Features include a click-to-talk button and
interactive diagrams of trade show exhibits. You can even receive updates on y
our mobile device.
Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. 96 Financial Services and Insurance Home page leads y
ou right to the info you need. Has full pricing and an interactive demo for pr
oducts and services. Community section allows users to chat and access chat ar
chives or other helpful advice.
Apple Computer Inc. 96 Manufacturing: Hi-tech Perhaps the most visually appeal
ing site we’ve seen. It’s simple, elegant, stylish-and acts as an ideal bran
ding tool for the company. Info and navigation are equally as strong.
APL Ltd. 96 Transportation and Shipping Excellent interactivity, with capabili
ties such as instant chat, wireless shipment tracking and a feature that track
s cargo around the world. It does a good job of reaching out to a variety of u
sers. A section on the home page highlights what the site can do-a nice touch.
Armstrong Holdings 95 Construction/Construction Equipment A clean look and eas
y navigability; it’s an impressive Web presence, considering the company’s C
hapter 11 status. Plenty of product and company info available. The small phot
os and color squares enhance the look of the site.
Comerica 95 Financial Services and Insurance A good-looking site that is missi
ng only a few things, such as e-mail opt-in offers. It has many online service
s, and tools and calculators.
National City Corp. 95 Financial Services and Insurance Dynamic visual design
is uncluttered and colorful. Also has a superior demo of its online banking ca
pabilities, and lots of help options.
IBM Corp. 95 Manufacturing: Hi-tech A quality site that has balanced a lot of
info with consistent branding and execution. Navigation between the many secti
ons is a little spotty, but with this much legacy info, that’s excusable.
Sprint 95 Telecom Services Great resource for existing and potential customers
. Product info is laid out in an appealing, engaging way-and there’s lots of
it. Customer service numbers are easy to find.
ABF Freight System Inc. 95 Transportation and Shipping Lots of good product an
d service info, and excellent online tools. The home page is a bit text heavy,
but overall a good, interactive site.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Co. 95 Transportation and Shipping Well d
esigned and packed with info, providing everything from online shipping and tr
acking data to industry news and resources.
OfficeMax Inc. 95 Wholesale/Retail/Distributor Features easy-to-find products
and comprehensive resources, including articles, opt-in newsletters and polls.
Has many free trials and promotions.
Pitney Bowes 94 Business/Professional Services Excellent functionality and ex
tensive e-commerce capabilities. A newsletter provides industry insight, pract
ical tips on mailing more effectively and overviews of new products.

r users-all in a format that’s easy to read. Consistent navigation bar is hel
pful. Colors and graphics could do more to convey a sense of the brand.

ective structure leads users to lots of info and tools. Colorful design is nic
e, but font on top navigation bar is too small and difficult to read.

orporate site and AIG home. Extras include real-time help.

e that has e-commerce figured out. ""Business center"" tab offers a variety of
promotions for tools and services from partners.
Sysco Corp. 92 Agricultural/Food Processing A wealth of info about products, o
nline ordering and extras such as e-mail alerts. The navigation bar across the
bottom might be more visible at the top or on the side.
Unisys Corp. 92 Business/Professional Services Excellent, content-rich site wh
ose ""eCommunity"" lets users view online events, pose questions to experts, e
nter discussions with other customers and suggest online poll questions. Site
offers extensive links to online media.
Consolidated Edison Inc. 92 Energy and Power A very good site that has done a
nice job segmenting its b-to-b and b-to-c info and services. One useful featur
e is Customer Central, an online pricing mechanism for business customers.
Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. 92 Energy and Power A good job of marketi
ng on the Web, with downloadable versions of TV ads, a photo gallery, company
speeches and a company trivia contest. Also has strong interactive capabilitie
s and services.
Bank of New York Co. Inc. 92 Financial Services and Insurance Great-looking, w
ith consistent, colorful design. Tons of product/service info, including nice
""related services"" button on product-description pages. Great contact info,
with each section offering a name and phone number for those services.
PNC Financial Services Group Inc. 92 Financial Services and Insurance A good-l
ooking site that’s easy to navigate and offers numerous helpful business tool
s. Also has strong online resources.
U.S. Bank 92 Financial Services and Insurance An extensive site that has some
nice resources, including the Small Business Solution Center, though this is a
bit cluttered. Some graphics (woman with stars and stripes circling her head)
are a bit strange.
Xerox Corp. 92 Manufacturing: Hi-tech Home page is a breath of fresh air-open
and spacious, effectively using Flash to explain the company’s place in the m
arket and linking to more info. It has clearly marked sections and bold colors
that work well.
Alcoa Inc. 92 Manufacturing: Industrial Well-presented company info, including
good directors’ biographies. Design is clean, though some type can be tough
to read.
Pall Corp. 92 "Petroleum, Chemicals and Mining Straightforward and jam-packed
with technical info about the company’s industrial purification products. All
site features drive potential customers to the purchasing section, which is s
treamlined with simple icons that encourage the sale.
AT&T 92 Telecom Services Well-designed, professional site that manages to addr
ess all of its customers without looking too busy. In addition to having solid
basics, the site has nice extras, such as demos of services.
Federal Express Corp. 92 Transportation and Shipping Nice branding with FedEx’
s characteristic colors. It’s easy to navigate and has numerous useful featur
es, including online shipping, tracking and order status.
United Parcel Service of America Inc. 92 Transportation and Shipping This site
has loads of interactive features; you can schedule pickups, track shipments
and calculate rates. What’s missing is a more intuitive delivery of the info,
such as an online demo using multimedia.
Staples Inc. 92 Wholesale/Retail/Distributor Makes e-commerce easy, offering u
sers smooth navigation and lots of product info. Contact info should be more p
rominently displayed; it’s all there under the ""help"" button, but might be
more identifiable under a ""contact us"" button.
Cintas Corp. 91 Business/Professional Services Great e-commerce, including new
features such as a ""smart cart"" that allows users to sort orders for delive
ry. Lots of info about the products, and good contact info. Some home page typ
e is difficult to read because of its color (beige). Also, there’s no search
function.
Edison International 91 Energy and Power Very good site with many community an
d interactive features, including online bill paying, regulatory news and ener
gy-saving tips.
J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. 91 Financial Services and Insurance Helps visitors fi
nd what they need and provides them with good info. Full multimedia demo for o
nline banking. Design is clean but a bit static.
BASF Corp. 91 "Petroleum, Chemicals and Mining Clean and very easy to navigate
. The info presented is comprehensive, and users can choose the language in wh
ich they want to view the site.
Oracle Corp. 91 Software Home page is too busy. But the site makes up for that
with cool features and extras, such as a ""you have messages"" link that user
s feel compelled to click.
Nextel Communications 91 Telecom Services Does a great job of presenting produ
ct info. Design and e-commerce are strong, too.
Airborne Freight 91 Transportation and Shipping Contains detailed, useful info
about the company and services, as well as helpful features such as online sh
ipping, billing and tracking. Not too many extras on this site.
Steelcase Inc. 90 Business/Professional Services Excellent site offers descrip
tions and photos of office products. Users can download software to let them p
lan office spaces. Case studies of Fortune 500 companies’ offices showcase pr
oducts.
Anixter Inc. 90 Manufacturing: Hi-tech Strong site with relevant info, interac
tive tools (such as calculator to determine network performance), an online cr
edit application, detailed product info and specs in the online catalog.
Hewlett- Packard Co. 90 Manufacturing: Hi-tech HP and Compaq appear to be stru
ggling with the integration of their online info. Still, it’s a nice-looking
site that has extras such as community features and Web chat.
Intel Corp. 90 Manufacturing: Hi-tech Site has made great improvements from it
s earlier days. Clever design elements, such as rounded images, and smart use
of photography make the site look hip.
Honeywell International Inc. 90 Manufacturing: Industrial Nicely designed site
that offers a good balance of stories and product info, particularly for a co
mpany that offers such a wide variety of products. E-commerce is through linke
d sites.

would help users.

n. There’s an online Storm Center, online bill paying, community links and a
video of an ice storm.

ergy tips and online energy care. Well designed and easy to navigate.

takes one too many pages to get to product info, though. Cutting the first spl
ash page would help.

is well-designed and easy to navigate. Lots of good info in places you’d exp

on.

backed up with extensive case histories. Plenty of material for investors.

Users can learn about the extensive history of the company, configure farm ma
chinery and calculate financing costs.
National Gypsum Co. 87 Construction/Construction Equipment Very functional sit
e. Plenty of case studies and white papers. Vast amount of info about specific
products, including material safety data. ""Tech Talk"" provides advice on a
range of topics.
Scana Corp. 87 Energy and Power Good, interactive site with many useful featu
res such as an online energy auction, online bill paying, community news and a
movie of an environmental project. Site’s look could stand an update.
Fannie Mae 87 Financial Services and Insurance You can reach the company’s b-
to-b site, eFannieMae.com, through Fanniemae.com, and the navigation between t
he two is good. Well-designed b-to-b site with many tools for mortgage lenders
and institutions.
Motorola Inc. 87 Manufacturing: Hi-tech Product info is presented in a clear a
nd compelling way with comparison charts and online demos. Effective branding
with aspects of ad campaign tied into site.

of product info, presented in a usable way. Some type on the home page looks
a bit compressed.
Qwest Communications International Inc. 87 Telecom Services Nicely designed si
