The space shuttle Columbia, its crew of seven astronauts and laboratory animals
returned to Earth Sunday landing at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida as
scheduled at 12:09 p.m. EDT. Minor hydraulic trouble did not affect Columbia's
final approach and landing. The crew completed a 16-day science mission to
study how the nervous system develops and functions in space.
