时间：公元1999年6月17日，上午9时
地点：广州沙面美领馆
人物：男，签证官，华裔美人，30岁许，戴眼镜，和善斯文。
      女，Sherry，身着浅紫色立领盘扣圆摆中式上装，深蓝色白花长裙（显然有志回国啊）

事件
   1。序曲。
          在1号窗口递证给小姐时，伊曰："学生签证？"
                                   答："正是。"
                               伊又问："学生证呢？"
                                 大惊： "没说要带啊？"
                                   沉默。。。。
                               立即说："在外面，要去拿吗？"
                                伊肯定地说："是啊"
        于是飞奔出去，从同伴处拿回自己的钱包，里面有所有证件。

然而再回至1号窗时，队伍已有十数人，硬着头皮向前面一位大叔解释，没等人发话
     便挤到窗口，然而比刚才已晚了5-6人了。只觉身后一片白眼，唉--

   2。等待。
         许多非移民签证申请者是阿公阿婆，所以许多闹剧，令人很是放松。时间也好
    打发。对面有一25岁左右男子垂头丧气地坐下.　　　　
　　　　   旁边人问："怎样？"
           答曰："不行。"
           又问："为何？"
           答曰："说我太年轻了。"
      （Sherry 听至此，几乎//faint＃)
           又问："签什么？"
           答曰："商务，出去开会。"
         于是Sherry决定不再左顾右盼，开始大背："I will definetely come back to china after graduation to start my career, you know, China has a huge financial market but it still has its big problem, that is , it lacks of professionals who can analysis
the financial problems by using mathematia theory. With my precious experice in MCM and the most advanced theory in P.D.E i can learn from **** UNIVERSITY, i believe that i am the right person who can solve this problem. So, i will return to China for
the sake of my splendid future."

3. 高潮。
　　　　几乎等到我已经觉得自己生下来就待在这间屋子，而且也早对洗手间熟视无睹
　　　的时候，突然听见一个女声极其清晰地叫到："*Sherry，４号窗。"
　　　　谢天谢地，没有象９点时在铁门外那个由于年年日日饱受诸排队者、被锯者、
　　　提问者折磨以至有着悲愤眼神的叫号男子一样把我的姓念成... Well, i just
      forget his pronounciation, anyway, not F..  at all.　　

        以昂扬的斗志，必胜的信念，大无畏的勇气，甜美的微笑...我已经站在了
　　　４号窗口前。
　　　　
       把文件夹塞进去, smile, "these are my materials."
        签证官开始翻，　我介绍着:"yeah, this is the I-20...  the admission
      letter from the international office..."

        他突然抬头***"so, what are you studying now?"
               ####  "mathematics, in South China University of Technology."
               ****  "When did you get your Bachelor Degree?"
               ####  "I will get it in two weeks."
        又开始翻文件，　把I-20从文件夹中抽出来。开始做记录。
　　　　　　　****   "Why did you want to go to **** UNIVERSITY?"
              ####  "Oh, it is because my research field fits the program
        there well. " 同时把手伸进窗口，"帮他"把文件夹翻到"The research
       Project in mathematics dept of **** UNIVERSITY ", 指着用蓝笔钩出的部分，接着说
　　　"The P.D.E, partial differential equations."
(事后想想自己的举动也够粗鲁的)
             ****   微微颔首。
　　　　　　   ***  :"you get the fellowship?"
             ####  "Yeah, fellowship plus tuition waiver."
       把奖学金情况，托福、GRE成绩都抄到１５６表上去，又翻文件夹，突然停在
　　　我的本科成绩单处,左看右看，他身后有一鬼佬走过，他竟然离开座位，叫住
　　　那厮，（他彼时还拿着我的文件夹），然后用手指着一处，　又一处，　小声
　　　地说:"I can't believe she can get such a high score in this one, and
this..."
      然后两人竟然笑出声来。God bless me!  又一次几乎//faint.

　　　然后他终于回到我的面前，有些尴尬的我终于忍住没问他是哪门课。
      又翻翻文件夹，***"eh, you said you have got your Bachelor or Master?"
                     ### "I will get my bachelor degree in two weeks."
       哎，居然让本小姐再重复，听力理解真是......?
      我琢磨大概奇怪我本科毕业就出去读博，北京不是大把？
　　　
　　　记录也作得差不多了，他合上文件夹，作出最后一问的姿态。
　　　*** "Tell me what will you do after you get your Ph.D degree, i mean
   you want to be a teacher , do some research or...."?
      心中狂笑，开始大背"I will come back to China to start my career.."?
      他突然皱眉，把耳朵倾向我，"eh? "
      My God, 竟然听不清！！！！//faint!
      清清嗓子，重新大背。然而有点走样."you know, i want to do some
    combination work between mathematical theory and pracital fields, with
     my experience in MCM and the most advanced theory in P.D.E i can learn
    from **** UNIVERSITY, i think i can start my career in China. "

    *** 点头。从抽屉里拿出同伴早已向我描述过千百遍的兰色卡片。
　　*** "Come to get your visa three hours later."
    ###  "Three hours later?"
    ***  "Yes."
    ###　满含深情地"Thank you!"

   提着裙子飞奔，只嫌裙摆太窄，穿过长长的甬道，推开出口处的铁门，一眼看见
　门外的同伴,　大叫　:"easy job!  十分钟不要搞掂！ "
　　　不管周围或艳羡、或讶异的目光，大声说:"我要去上下九吃好辣的鱼蛋！"
  　
　　　4.尾声。
　　
　　　事后有三气，
　　　其一，　据同伴分析，签证官是说我的中国革命史能考95，比较变态。
　　　其二，　 同伴听我说最后一个问题连big problem  都忘了说，大骂。
　　　其三，"three hours later"恰是下午１时，去那儿排了半小时的队，1:30排到，
　　然而当时只办返签，小姐冷冷的说，我这儿还没有你的签证，下午３点再来！
　　于是在白天鹅里又坐了一个多钟　。

　　签证就是这样，一如恋爱，他第一眼看你时，决定已经下了。
