 我的个人情况：赴奥本化学读Ph.D, 全奖。本科毕业，工作两年。
28日早7：30到领馆，其实用不着那么早。我的预约是8：00，真正放人进去是8：20左右
。但因为前一天到沈阳后没来踩点，心里没底，早到点熟悉环境，缓和情绪。今天不知道
怎么了，光我认识的F-1就有6个。后来证明总共有十几个，名副其实的“扎堆”！
快8：00了，我和舅舅，我同时签证的公司同事，我的高中同学和他的妈妈，还有来踩点
的大学同学简单聊了几句。想起黄历上说，“不宜会友”。
8：20左右，领馆人员招呼我们过去站队，我想，赶早不赶晚，于是跟在一对探亲老人后
面，整个队伍的第三个。验申请表，身份证等。FT，人家说我英文DS156姓名边上也应该写
电码。马上补齐，进去，安检后交材料（护照，I20），这时候我看到了小黑，神采奕奕
Ｃ象埃迪墨菲。收我材料的女士用英文和他聊，问他是不是去天池了，小黑说去了，很好，
拍了照片blabla...我暗喜，原来周末度假去了，今天估计不会是“星期一综合证”了！
于是坐到最里面，随后我的高中同学也进来了。
等待叫号。将近9：00，黑人已经开始了，第一个竟然不是那对探亲的夫妇，而是全自费
去PURDUE念本科的，小姑娘一签而过，她的英语真不错。我知道自己一定与小白遭遇了。
小黑一路放了3，4个，小白终于开始了。那对老夫妇在窗口前至少站了10分钟，悄悄离开
了，下午也没看到他们，估计悲剧。然后就是我。大义凛然走上前。
以下是尽量按照提问的顺序来的，但问我的实在太多，有些都想不起来了。
M: Good morning, sir. (把透明袋的材料放在面前)
V: Good morning, give me all the document that you want me to see.
M: Ok. (奇怪，一股脑都要，本来我开的一些证明想看看形势才给呢。都让他看见了，
只好都推进去)
 You can see the document included from the checklist on the file bag..
...
(被打断)
V: I don’t need one. Why do you choose XX University?
M: XX has a leading program in organic chemistry which fits my research
interest..(被打断)
V: No speeches, please, just answer my question!
M: I see. (小白态度太不友好了，看来一开始就没想让我过啊！于是乖乖的缩短我的答
案)
V: Where did you get your BS? When? What’s the major?(一边听一边在156上狂写
不止)
M:.Bla bla...
V: What do you do after graduation?
M: I have been working for ..... since then.
V: For two years?
M: Yes.
V: How much is your monthly salary?
M: 2500.
V: (皱眉)
M: (赶紧补充) and when my project team makes profit, we can get bonus up to
XXXXX.
V: (笑问) How much bonus did you get last year?
M: XXXX.
V:（都一一记录下来）Why do you like chemistry?
M: I am very interested in chemistry...I believe it is very important to our

life and it brings me great sense of achievement as a chemical... (被打断)
V: (瞪大眼睛重复他说过的话) No speeches, please, just answer my question!
M:(心想好你个小白，我说的够精辟了，还怎么短啊) ok. Anyway I like my major an
d want
to take it as my life-long career.
V: (对最后一句好象满意了，换了角度) How many universities did you apply?
M: Seven.
V: How many accepted you?
M: Four.
V: Then what are they?
M:.Blabla....
V: (又开始狂写) So besides XXX University has a good program for your study,

what else makes you choose it?
M: (我当然不会傻到说因为给了钱)It has very famous professors, such as XXX and
XXX, they are both authorities in their area for years.
VO开始沉默，把我的所有材料从口袋里拿出来看了一遍，除了我和对象的照片在信封里
，他懒得打开吧。又把我的成绩单扔给我，让我打开，小黑那边又过了2个人，我的高中
同学简短2分钟顺利过关，令我有点焦急。我一边开信封一边告诫自己稳住，这摆明是一场
拉锯战。）
V: (盯着大红印章发呆，然后翻到最后，突然发现我的毕业证写的是籍贯山东) You are
 fromShandong Province, right?
M: Not really. My parents were born there but I was born in Dalian, in Liaon
ing Province.
V: So... Are you married?
M: Yes. He is a graduate student in XXX.  (VO把这些信息全都记录下来）
V: What’s your plan after you finish study in USA?
M:(终于问到了最后一个问题，心中一阵宽慰) I will find a project manager position
in a fine chemical company in China...
V: (喜笑颜开) That’s exactly the same as what you have been doing before!!!

M: Yes. But I will be able to start it at a much higher level when I get my Ph.
D. I like my career but more and more find my knowledge in agrochemical
intermediates too limited to advance my skills! That’s why I choose to study
after two years of working!
V: So where will you work?
M: in a fine chemical company in China。
V: Where? Which company?
M: (有点蒙，要具体，但是随便说出个单位是不明智的) Shanghai. As we all know
Shanghai has the most brisk economy all over the nation. Two-thirds of 500 top
enterprises in the world has branches or offices there. I will have great job
opportunities...
V: Don’t you want to return to the company where you have worked?
M: I wish to, but I probably will not go back to it.
V: Why?
M: There are a lot of Ph.D and MS holders in this company. They have already
occupied the important positions.
V: Why?
M: Because this company is affiliated to DICP, one of the largest institutes
 in CAS.
V: (把我说的一一记录在案，DS156已经被他划的密密麻麻)Ok. (还不死心，翻来覆去的
看我的材
料，静默半分钟，显然在权衡)
M: (我觉得不能在等了，再磨叨下去夜长梦多，大胆的把自己准备好的归国前景托出) 
Sir, do
you know in Chinese agrochemical industry what’s the most important number?

（VO抬头看了我一眼, 我接着说，这个数字反映了中国在这个领域多么落后，中国进入
wto以后会因为这方面的落后损失多少出口，我的未来目标就是利用我学到的知识研究
。。。。。等等。我盯
着他说了这些，反正他不想给我过了，我说什么都不会使结果变得更糟。VO看着我，忽
然伸手去摸小白条。
V: Congratulations, keep this. Come back later at ....
M: (没听清后面说什么) Thank you, sir!
刹那间，小白给的小白条好像显得格外的白啊，我逃也似的离开了美国领土。出门我的
同事和一个师弟已经在门口等候叫号了。接受了他们的祝贺。远远看见舅舅和同学的妈妈
，朝他们挥了挥白条。他们激动的叫起来。原来看我那么久没出来，他们都不抱乐观了。
仔细想想，我在小白面已经呆了至少15分钟。
感谢所有家人和朋友对我的祝福！
总结：28日开始的形势小黑一片大好，小白本来就不好，第一个探亲就不给过，后面听
说也没过几个。但是既然命运安排我去了小白那里，就要自信沉着，说话时斩钉截铁，
盯着他半透明的眼睛，说出你最有说服力的想法。如果你真的遇到小白，而且你觉得自己
硬件没有问题，就做好持久战的准备。如果你有备用的材料不想一开始就给他看，就不要
和其他材料放在一起，以免所有的都得推进去，节外生枝。
