7：20　到达

7：30～8：30　排四次队，护栏外排队，护栏内排队，领事馆门口排队，签证大厅排队。
大厅内五个窗口，我排一号窗，前面有两个mm,不过很快她们就溜了，排到其它几队中，现
在我变成一号窗的第一个。

8：30　一号窗打开，是著名的站着签证的小胡子。Sigh, 不是褐发mm.。

VO: Morning!

M: Morning! (Hand in my documents)

VO: Have you ever gone to foreign countries?

部分问题记不起来了，但都是25问上来的，只要好好准备，对每个问题作具体的回答，如

VO: Give me three reasons you will come back to China.

M: The first reason is all my family members and friends are living here. I ha
ve a strong relation network, you know, “Guanxi”. If I come back to China, i
t’s very easy for me to do what I want to do. Also my parents are old, and I
will finish my PhD degree ASAP and then come back to China to take care of the
m. (interrupted by VO)

VO: your reason cannot convince me, tell me more.

M: The second reason is if I come back to China, my experience in America will
 give me many advantages in finding a well-paid job. (interrupted again)

VO: What advantages?

M: Like my English proficiency, my research capability and the PhD degree. You
 know, after 4 or 5 years in America, my English will improve a lot. My resear
ch capability will improve a lot because I will do some research work under th
e direction of a very famous professor. And I will get a PhD degree from an Am
erican university. There are not many PhDs from American universities in China
. So it’s very easy for me to find a very good job.

VO (wrote sth on my 156 form): Ok! Tell me sth about your research area?

M: blahblah

VO (picked up a blue ticket): Congratulations! You will get the visa at 3 this
 afternoon.
