4．   与相关部门协同工作，保证产品设计的正确实现

 

要求：

1．   Windows 软件界面设计经验和爱好

2．   优秀的英文技术文档的书写能力

3．   对软件windows，Mac OS X和Web技术，即新技术Macromedia Flash, XML, Java, ASP, server-side applications有兴趣和基本了解

4．   设计专业，或工程专业

5．   CAD软件知识更佳

Position Summary


As Junior Product Designer, you will assist senior members of the design staff as well as lead small sized design projects for new features and tools in AutoCAD and other Platform Technologies Division products. You will be responsible for ensuring success of larger features working with a collocated team. In many cases you will be the only designer on location, working with other developers and an overseas design lead. You will ensure designs are implemented as specified and address issues as they arise. You will be responsible for light-weight prototyping and development of materials for usability testing. You may be responsible for analyzing market and user requirements, creating conceptual models from your analyses, and fully articulating detailed user interface designs that incorporate ideas and input from other members of cross-functional teams. 


Responsibilities


*         Under the direction of a design lead:

*         Work within multidisciplinary product teams through the design process for new products and features.

*         Analyze Market Requirements and the needs of target customers to provide guidance to the design process.

*         Create detailed UI mock-ups and/or prototypes for usability testing usEing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Visual Studio, etc. 

*         Create Conceptual Designs for new products and features, and clearly describe them using text, diagrams, illustrations, and/or prototypes. Lead the teams through the evaluation of design alternatives for the product or feature design.

*         Work with other Product Designers and team members to develop and refine the detailed interaction and visual design for new products and features.

*         Manage the process of writing and illustrating clear and comprehensive Product Specifications, posting them for review, leading them through inspection and approval by the product team.

*         Participate in Usability Inspections and Usability Tests at various points in the design process. 

*         Clearly understand and communicate the derivation of the final product design from the Market Requirements and target customer needs.

*         Work with the Software Development team to ensure that the design is faithfully implemented. 

*         Participate in the development of cross-product and industry design standards.


The ideal candidate will have:


*         Experience in prototyping, programming, or scripting in at least one programming language or prototyping environment, preferably Macromedia Flash.

*         Strong communication skills. Excellent English writing skills.

*         Detail oriented and able to proactively ensure standards compliance.

*         Excellent time management skills.

*         The ability to work independently and be proactive.

 


Desired Knowledge and Skills


*         A degree in a Design field, Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, Multimedia Studies, or equivalent experience.

*         An understanding and interest of Windows and Mac OS X user interface design standards.

*         An interest in the World Wide Web, its current state, and its emerging trends, including the capabilities of XML, Java, ASP, server-side applications, etc.

*         Prefer some experience designing one or more of these application types: CAD; 3D modeling or rendering, technical drawing or illustration, other graphics applications.

*         Experience with user interaction design for software products running on Windows.  

*         Experience in user research and user-centered design techniques is ideal.
