Launch Coordination Engineer - Beijing

Position based in Beijing, China.

We're looking for a Launch Coordination Engineer who will help our Engineering
 teams launch exciting new projects onto the Google website. You will be 
responsible for ensuring that projects are ready for launch from a design
 perspective as well as making sure that all the i's are dotted and t's are
 crossed. This is a senior role that requires you to analyze diverse new 
product architectures for scalability, reliability, robustness, and compliance
 with Google's deployment standards. In addition you will educate teams of
 software developers about Google's deployment infrastructure and launch 
readiness requirements. The ideal candidate is self organizing, detail oriented
, and combines strong technical skills with great project-management and 
communication skills.

Requirements:


    * BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
    * 3+ years experience as a hands-on software developer, designer, and
 tech lead.
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    * Experience with web/application servers and networking a plus.
    * Experience deploying solutions on Unix and Linux platforms.
    * Great team player, excellent project-management skills.
    * Strong computer science fundamentals and systems background are essential

    * Engineering management experience is a big plus.
