Intern opening (西门子中国研究院诚招实习生)

1. Company: Corporate Technology, Siemens Ltd. China (西门子中国研究院) 

2. Role & Responsibilities: 
    Design, implement and test a database management system (prototype)

3. Requirements

•Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, software engineering or 

  related fields 
•Basic knowledge of software project definition, specification, control,
 
  assembling, test, and finalization
•Basic background in database theory and techniques, especially in 
  transaction management, recovery management
•Familiar with Linux and C programming 
•Experienced in analyzing OS or databases' source codes, such as Linux, 
  
  Postgre, mysql and Berkeley DB
•Good command of written and verbal English

4. Location: Beijing  

5. Duration: Starting in April 2006 for 6 to 12 months.
