1. Boomerang project: 1 intern 

Requirements: 

(1)Familiar with network programming in VC; 

(2)Knowledge on video streaming; 

(3)Electronic/Computer Science background. 

2. Location-based application : 2 interns (Urgent!) 

Description: location-based application development on mobile devices 

Requirement: 

(1) Familiar with J2ME or Symbian programming 

(2) Experience of mobile phone application development 

(3) Experience with Linux 

3. Ad hoc research and application: 2 interns (Urgent!) 

Description: ad hoc application development on mobile devices

Requirements:

7. IMS network security Research: 1 intern 

Requirements: 

(1)Programming experience using C under Linux and is a must

8. Mapweb Project: 1 intern 

Requirements: 

(1)Be very familiar with WAP, including WAP UI design, WAP1.0/WAP2.0. 

(2)Familiar with JSP, Java Script, HTML 

(3)Knowledge of J2EE, MySQL is a plus. 

9.WiMAX research: 1 intern (urgent!) 

Description: Research on WiMAX technology and potential WiMAX application 

Requirements: 

(1)Familiar with 802.16/802.16e. 

(2)Familiar with joint layer design 

(3)Familiar with Mobile IP 

(4)Rapid modeling and simulation using Matlab or OPNET 

(5)Experience in writing papers in English 

(6)Experience with Linux is a PLUS 

(7)Experience in positioning technology is a PLUS 

10.Routing Protocol Implementation for ASON: 2 interns 

Requirements: 

(1)Familiar with ASON/GMPLS architecture; 

(2)Familiar and experience with OSPF-TE; 

(3)Experience with Linux, especially networking programming. 

(4)Experience with c/c++ programming. 

(5)Good ability in writing documents in English; 

(6)Familiar with DDRP is a PLUS; 

(7)Experience with RSVP-TE is a PLUS. 

11.Website design and development: 1 intern 

Requirement: 

(1)Have experience and in-depth knowledge of website design, can skilled use
 website design software such as Dreamweaver, Frontpage, Flash, Fireworks, P
hotoshop, etc. 

(2)In-depth knowledge of web markup or scripting languages: HTML, XHTML, DHT
ML, CSS, VBScript, JavaScript. 

(3)Have experience and in-depth knowledge of database development: php mysql
 etc. 

(4)Have experiences in computer hardware, software and network maintenance.
