BU Description 
SOA Design Center in CSDL is under Enterprise Integration Solution (EIS) of Software Group. 

Our mission is through field engagements, to create SOA industry solution accelerators as re-usable assets; to build technical insight of SOA technology and product requirements,  then feedback to IBM brand products, also pioneer some new technologies to prove their business value and technical approaches.

We have both SOA engagement and SOA product development projects. We also have SOA related advance technology projects. 
Job Responsibilities
For engagement projects, the job responsibilities are:
1. Lead or participate SOA Solution/Projects Development
2. Lead or participate SOA Workshop for customers or business partners

For product development projects, we have various projects. The candidates will work with worldwide EIS or other product development teams.

We will have job rotations among engagement and development projects, also among different development projects, when required and appropriate.  
Job Requirements (skills/experiences) 
Desired Skills and Experience:
1. Rich Java programming experience, web application development 
2. In depth knowledge of UML2.0, EMF,and Eclipse Plug-in development 
3. Experienced in J2EE(EJB, JCA, JTA,etc.), Web Services(XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, BEPL ...) 
4. In depth knowledge of design patterns 
5. Skilled with IDE development tools such as WSAD, WID, Rational Software Architect, Eclipse3 
6. Working experience with application server: WebSphere Business Integration Server Foundation, Websphere Process Server, Message Broker  is a plus 
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
Master degree preferred though bachelor is acceptable, major in Computer Science or Electronic Engineer;
Excellent communication skill, fluent in both spoken and written English;
Self-motivated team player
Quick learner
Have rich customer facing experience for engagement position
