中心介绍
微机电系统（Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System, MEMS, or Microsystems）是机械学
科与纳米技术、微电子技术、新材料技术等学科交叉融合产生的新技术领域。MEMS与IC
技术及其装备技术是集新材料技术、先进制造技术、微电子技术、自动控制技术等多学
科为一体的前沿学科。MEMS同IC技术在二十世纪的作用一样，将对人类社会产生革命性
的影响，是关系国民经济建设和国家安全保障的战略高科技，正与IC技术一起在信息技
术、生物技术领域中扮演着重要角色。从美国、日本、欧洲等发达工业国家，到韩国、
新加坡等新兴工业国家都认识到发展MEMS可增强一个国家的综合竞争力，把MEMS与信息
、生命、航天航空等技术并列作为战略高科技的发展重点。
华中科技大学微系统 中心 (Institute of Microsystems)正式成立于2002年10月，是国
家”863”support四大MEMS基地之一，目前正承担国家863计划MEMS重大专项、国家“十
五”集成电路技术重大专项攻关项目、国家自然科学基金重大项目。本中心现有中国科
学院和工程院院士3人，教授30人，2名长江学者、副教授30人，博士生30人，硕士生50
人。此外，还有海外在这一领域的知名专家加盟与支持。机械学院特聘教授、国家863计
划MEMS专家组成员、美国总统Professor奖获得者刘胜博士；机械学院特聘教授、香港中
文大学王煜教授；“武汉·中国光谷”首席顾问、美国工程院院士、Bell Labs Fellow
, IEEE Fellow汪正平教授；机械学院兼职教授、美国路易斯安那州立大学连崑博士。中
心在211工程的支持下，先后建立微加工实验室、精微电子装备研究中心、引进了成套的
IC设计平台与部分加工装备，与信息产业部45所共同组建了微电子装备研究中心等研究
基地，并正在筹建分析测试中心。在MEMS封装可靠性评价方面，先后与新加坡南洋理工
大学和美国韦恩州立大学、清华大学合作，研制了微小六轴疲劳试验机、3D-Morie、纳
米级翘曲测量仪, drop tester, and developed world class virtual process mecha
nics based reliability modeling, validation and applications。研究了MEMS的微
小尺寸计量及其工差与标准化问题；研制出了能进行纳米级计量的扫描探针技术，可用
于MEMS的检测与评估分析。九·五期间还研制出基于MEMS技术的薄膜压力传感器系列，
并有小规模生产。目前在该领域的研究中我校走在国内高校前列。完善的科研设备是高
水平的科研成果的必要保证。目前，微系统研究中心已拥有比较齐全的实验设备，如准
分子激光光刻机，高精度紫外光刻机，反应离子刻蚀机（RIE）,离子束刻蚀机（IBE），
贴片机，真空镀膜机等。在211工程的支持下，本中心还将投资1000多万从国外引进先进
的低压化学汽相沉积设备，深反应离子刻蚀（ICP）机，6轴微样品试验机, 6维激光干涉
仪, 手动金丝球焊机 ,三维云纹干涉仪，平行封焊机等。

中心教授简介
CP Wong :
 C. P. Wong is a Regents’ Professor (the highest ranking distinguished Prof
essor at Georgia Tech) at the School of Materials Science and Engineering an
d a Research Director at the NSF Packaging Research Center at Georgia Instit
ute of Technology. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Purdue Univ
ersity, and his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Pennsylvania State University
. Thereafter, he was awarded a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford
University with Nobel Laureate Prof. Henry Taube.
Dr. Wong spent 19 years at AT&T Bell Labs and was elected as a Bell Labs Fel
low in 1992. His research interests lie in the fields of polymeric materials
, reaction mechanism, IC encapsulation, in particular, hermetic equivalent p
lastic packaging, electronic packaging processes, interfacial adhesions, PWB
, SMT assembly and component reliability.
Interests: packaging processes development and reliability, focused on the p
olymer based processes, wafer scale packaging, flip-chip packaging, failure
analysis, and reliability;
