- Design, implement, test, maintain, and support Sun Desktop products
- Software analysis and design
- Write functional spec and design document
- Write high quality code to implement designed functions
- Perform code review
- Work with team members to integrate and test software components
- Interact with external engineers to resolve technical problems
- Perform software bug fix
- Write technical documents
- Liaison with engineering and technical review groups in US and 
Europe
QUALIFICATIONS :
===============
- 3+ year C/C++ experience
- Must be familiar with Unix / Solaris Operating System
- Familiar with HTTP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Must have knowledge in software development process
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must be familiar with Web browser functions and technology
- Knowledge of windowing and network programming
- Knowledge of object and component technology, such as COM, DCOM, 
Corba
- Familiar with software development tools on Solaris
- Extensive experience in a GUI development environment, ideally using 
the
X Window System and Motif. Knowledge of Java Swing would be beneficial
- Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluency in English
- Strong self-motivation
- Java language experience preferred
- BS in Computer Science, MS preferred.
