All positions are in Shanghai (Intel China Software Lab)

1. Carrier Grade Linux Software Engineer
    Successful candidates will be responsible for developing and validating Li

nux kernel drivers and modules in various fields, including RAS features, clus

tering and security. Candidate is expected to work in open source.

Requirements:
    * BS/MS/Ph.D in Computer Science
    * At least 2 years Linux and open source development experience
    * Familiar with C/C++, as well as common script languages
    * Linux kernel development knowledge and experience is a must
    * Knows about hardware architecture (x86/xScale/IA64)
    * Knowledge and experience in security and/or clustering is a strong plus

    * Good English communication ability
    
2. Cross Architecture Software Engineer
    Successful candidates will be responsible for developing and validating cr

oss architecture development tools, on various platforms (IA32, xScale...).

Requirements:
    * BS/MS/Ph.D in Computer Science
    * Experienced in Java programming and GUI design
    * Knows about hardware architecture (x86/xScale/IA64)
    * At least 2 years working experience in Linux/Unix environment
    * Good English communication ability

3. Application Engineer (AE)
    Successful candidates will be working together with System Integrator, ISV

, Linux Operating System Distributor (OSD) and OEM to provide professional ser

vices to help Telecom market customers to adopt IA solutions. Main responsibil

ities include: to help customer to resolve the middleware dependencies; troubl

eshooting and optimizing customer's products on Linux/IA; deliver training on 

Carrier Grade Linux(CGL), Intel performance tools, and Migration Guideline. 

Requirements: 
        * MS in CS or Telecom
        * Good English language skill (Korean or Japanese skill will be a plus

)
        * In-depth knowledge of Linux Operating System (other real-time OS suc

h as Vxworks, QNX preferable)
        * Architectural knowledge of Telecom application and protocol stacks, 

such as SS7, Soft switch, 3G and etc.
        * Software porting and migration knowledge (Solaris to Linux experienc

e preferable)
        * Good understanding on Intel Architecture
        * Being able to travel frequently
